Explore questions related to our daily flower delivery. This guide covers, celebrations like birthday flowers, get well flowers, and any other celebratory flowers. Are all flowers available at all times of the year?

No, Flowers grow seasonally in different places around the world. There is also no specific time, more of an estimation; weather influences when flowers will start to grow, how quickly they come into bloom, and their quality.

By what time do I have to place my order to have it sent out early.

  • Placing your order early in the day, does not assure an early delivery. Depending on the day of the week, our shop opens between 10am and 12pm. We have to create your order, place it in the system and wait for the arrival of our delivery man. If you need to request a delivery before noon, it is important to have placed your order 2 days in advance. You must indicate that you would prefer a flower deliver before noon in the “note to seller”. We will see if it is possible to have someone in early; if it is not possible it will give us time to contact you and discuss alternatives.
  • In order to have your order delivered earlier than noon, your order must be placed 2 days before (3 days if you order on a Monday).

Can I cancel an order for a future date and receive reimbursement?

Reimbursements are available for particular orders and conditions, sometimes in full, sometimes partially, and sometimes not at all. For all details concerning this policy please consult our Policies, Terms & Conditions: section 3, subsection f Cancellations. Or specifically for pre-orders: section 1, subsection b Pre Orders

Do I have to provide the recipient’s phone number?

Yes, it is imperative that we are able to contact the recipient, for delivery to run as smooth as possible. We know that sometimes secrecy is involved in surprise; but the element of surprise is not lost, as typically people are very excited and surprised to hear that they are getting flowers, and they still get to be surprised when they see them for the first time. When we call we do our best to ask when they will be available for delivery, without stating what their package is.

Why is the price of flowers different at a florist VS the grocery store?

The short answer: Mainly, grocery stores and big box stores utilise flower and plants as loss leaders (sold at a loss), as a marketing strategy to boost other in store sales. Likewise, quality, conditioning, preservation, packaging, and floral services are not included whatsoever. For a deeper closer look compare see Flower Prices at Grocery Stores Vs Florists.
